      本卷关于太极拳的演练。当时本人正在习拳，为了加深对于拳理的认识，我将杨氏太极里的三十几个动作分成两卷，分别对每个招式进行意象化的图解，并配有不同时代的拳理精要，时政要闻。习拳的公园内有很多高大杨树，故称这两卷作品为“太极杨树高”。

      This scroll is about practice of Taijiquan. When I was learning Taijiquan, in order to strengthen my knowledge on it, I split more than 30 movements in Yang Taijiquan into two scrolls, and made illustrations on each movement respectively, aside with gist from different times and important news back then. There are many tall poplar trees in the park where I learnt, hence the name of the two scrolls is called “Taiji Tall Poplar Trees”.
