秦望 


     “秦望”项目藉由两种相关又矛盾的状态展开,包含了装置、影像、壁画以及现场表演。两位绍兴艺术家对于两千年前秦始皇对于会稽巡游后所留下的秦望山,做出了不同的回应:被构建的历史现实状态下的小人物命运,以及延绵不绝的皇权意识。

      本次项目中,耶苏依旧延续“CILING”系列创作对秦帝国建筑意识的研究,将水果纹样隐喻成宫墙和帝国集权的象征。戴陈连的现场表演与皮影剧场将通过一个具体小人物的平凡故事以及主人公留下的画室等场景展开,以此表现出其对命运的叙述和想象,勾勒出一个社会转型时代普通人所要承受的代价和命运发生的转变。



Qin in Retrospect


      Project “Qin in Retrospect” unfolds itself with two related yet contradictory states, including installations, images, murals and live performance. Two Shaoxing( Zhejiang Province, China ) artists have responded differently to the Qinwang Mountain that named behind by Emperor Qin Shihuang after his tour 2000 years ago: the fate of nobody under constructed history and reality, and the continuous imperial ideology. 

      In this project, Ye Su continued his“CILING” series, reserching on imperial buildings, the fruits patterns are metaphors for palace wall and imperial power. Dai Chenlian’s live performance and shadow play started with a nobody’s story and the studio left by the protagonist, thus showing the narrative and imagination on his fate. By presenting the prices a normal person is to bear.
