刺 菱

艺术家耶苏将对以红星里为核心的部分区域进行一次虚拟的勘测行动。通过细致的踩点、规划、设计并结合八大里目前的拆迁改造进程对某些关键位置进行图形标注或信息提示。

Scrutinize "Ling"

Artist Ye Su will virtually scrutinize the area around Hongxing Li. Through a thorough survey, planning and design,  the artist will make graphical or textural annotations in some key points with a reflection on the demolition process of the eight Li-s.

      艺术家设计的“尖山地区旧城改造以及新规划示意图”.新图将尖山地区的未来杜撰成一片庞大的帝王陵墓，并且以黑点标明展览的具体地点：一个概念上的小型墓室。这张图被打印出来并揉成纸团出现在展览现场。

     “Renovation in Jianshan region and new plan diagram” designed by the artist. In the diagram, Jianshan region will be built into a vast imperial mausoleum, with black spots indicating the exhibition place: a small scale conceptual mausoleum. This picture is printed, and presented as a balled up paper in the exhibition. 

    

      艺术家耶苏在天津尖山社区的红光公园刷柱子。刷完柱子后剩下的红墙漆被留下作为创作材料。

      Artist Ye Su painted the pillars in Hong Guang（Red Light） Park in Jianshan, Tianjin. The red paint left after painting is kept as creation material.

     “刺菱”项目最后选择了尖山地区一栋废墟大楼内的一间屋子作为展厅。这个展厅也就成为了“帝王陵墓”概念下的一个象征缩影。室内摆放的物料勾勒出空间的静谧感。这些物料大多来自废墟大楼内部原有的物件。之前刷柱子用剩下的红墙漆，用来覆盖墙上原有的深红色装饰线。

      Scrutinize "Ling" project is finally showed in a room in a waste building in Jianshan. And the room itself became an epitome of imperial mausoleum.The stuff inside the room outlines a sense of serenity, most of the stuff are from the building. The red paint left is used for covering the dark red decoration lines on the wall.

关于CILING项目

    帝国意识是本土权利机制的强固基因，至今发挥着持续的动力。尘封于地下，并未被破坏的秦始皇陵，可被看成这一帝国意识形态在美学与政治实践结合方面的一次特殊启幕。

    CILING是一个拼音谐音标题，在每次创作时会用不同的汉字作为区分。作为一个持续生长的创作序列，CILING期待在当代的语境下反思和追踪帝国意识的变化。CILING系列将被按照皇陵的结构，拆分成不同的阶段与模块，进行提炼与创作。本计划自2016年起展开了尝试，以秦始皇陵作为作品的参考架构。

About CILING Project

     Imperial ideology is a strong gene in native power mechanism, and it has been played as a sustained force till now. Sealed under the ground, the intact Qin Shihuang mausoleum could be seen as a special starting point of this imperial ideology in the practical combination of aesthetics and politics.

     CILING is a pinyin title of the general project, each independent exhibition of CILING is distinguished by different Chinese characters. As an ongoing series, CILING hopes to inspect and track changes in imperial ideology under current context. In accordance with the structure of the Chinese  imperial mausoleum, CILING series will be separated into different phases and parts to produce. The plan started in 2016, using the Qin Shihuang mausoleum as the referenced structure.
